RAMADAN 2024

Power Up Your Giving this Ramadan

Your Zakat and Sadaqah this Ramadan can give dignity over and over again.

Our Islamic Microlending projects power up your Ramadan giving to provide lasting, economic empowerment and self-sufficiency. Here’s how…

Give Qarz-e-Hasna

This Ramadan, your Zakat and Sadaqah can fund ‘beautiful loans.’ Akhuwat’s Qarz-e-Hasna Scheme supports vulnerable people like widows and the disabled. For just £100, you can help them gain livelihoods so they can earn a sustainable living. Click below to learn how so many have benefitted.

Donate Food Packs

Your Zakat and Sadaqah can provide food packs containing essential items which can feed a family all month, for just £80. Our Ramadan Food Ration Project is tackling the rise in food poverty across Pakistan. Inflation and food scarcity have left many families facing hunger.

My Ten Nights

Schedule Your Zakat and Sadaqah donations to gain the rewards of giving on each of the last 10 nights. With My 10 Nights, you can do this in advance so you don’t have to worry about getting online on those days of devotion.

Qarz-e-Hasna Success Stories

What if your Zakat could save a family from poverty, and then keep on giving to others for years to come? Join Akhuwat to power up your giving this Ramadan.

This Ramadan, Akhuwat is tackling poverty on three fronts:

FOOD - £80 food pack for a family of four

In Ramadan, the cost of food rises in Pakistan, making it difficult for people to feed themselves over the holy month. We’re providing food for families facing extreme food poverty so they don’t have to worry about affording basic essentials and can focus on their obligatory fasting and the extra worship we all want to perform. Our Ramadan Food Packs can feed a family of four for the whole month so that fasting Muslims have Iftar and Suhoor to look forward to.

QARZ-E-HASNA - £100 sponsorship for a widow

We’re turning your Zakat into long-term sustainable help for widows and disabled people, through our Qarz-e-Hasna scheme. The people we support use the funds we lend them to gain livelihoods and lift themselves out of poverty through their own hard work. Our recipients only pay back the capital amount they borrowed without interest. No one makes a profit off their hard work, but them.

LAST TEN NIGHTS – automated giving for your ease

Schedule Your Zakat and Sadaqah donations to gain the rewards of giving on each of the last 10 nights. With My 10 Nights, you can do this in advance so you don’t have to worry about getting online on those days of devotion. You can focus on your worship, secure in the knowledge that you are giving charity on the most holy days of the Islamic calendar.

‘For those who give in Charity, men and women, and loan to Allah a Beautiful Loan, it shall be increased manifold [to their credit], and they shall have [besides] a liberal reward.’ (Holy Qur’an 57:18)

Your Zakat and Sadaqah, this Ramadan, could give dignity with a hand-up, instead of a handout. Support Akhuwat projects with your Zakat or Sadaqah to empower people in need and help tackle poverty sustainably.
