In some of Pakistan’s most underprivileged areas, school buildings and educational facilities exist, but they’re no longer operational. Derelict and in disrepair, they aren’t fit to serve the communities they’re meant to.
In collaboration with the Government of Punjab, Akhuwat has committed to restoring over 4,000 non-functioning schools. Through our Public School Support Programme, we’ve adopted over 350 primary schools, in six districts of Punjab. We fund, maintain and manage these schools, providing quality education to thousands of children from poor communities.
By donating towards our Public School Support Programme, you’ll be helping us adopt more schools in need of aid and development so that more children can go to school.
