ABOUT AKHUWAT

Akhuwat’s mission is grounded in the Holy Prophet’s sunnah of Mawakhat (brotherhood). Akhuwat was launched in Pakistan in 2001 focusing on providing education, clothing, healthcare, and support to the poorest communities in Pakistan.

Akhuwat has distributed over $1 billion (Over PKRS 250 billion) to 7.2 million beneficiaries via its wide network of 800+ branches in 400+ cities with 8000+ village volunteers and employees. Akhuwat’s success story has been covered as a case study at Harvard Kennedy School to inspire future leaders. Akhuwat had also launched Pakistan’s first fee free residential University in Kasur.
